I'm a potter and painter based in Bristol. I have always loved working with clay but I enjoy painting too and often combine the two by painting onto clay to create my vases and wall pieces.

I studied ceramics at Goldsmith's College, London.  I have worked in a pottery suppliers and produced my own work from studios here in Bristol. For a number of years I also ran a small gallery on the wonderful Christmas Steps.

I'm inspired by movement and the human form and have spent a lot of time drawing ballet dancers and attending life drawing sessions.  These sketches form the basis of many of my wall pieces, sculptures and paintings.  However  I also enjoy landscape and am passionate about colour and the way that light falls, whether it is on trees and hills or on the human body.
